SoLow Sound System hosting ep.16 of the Shibumi Records podcast.
SoLow's bio:
As a longstanding figurehead of the techno scene, SoLow has a global fanbase in Europe, Brazil, Australia and the USA. His trippy sub bass grooves fill parties, clubs and festivals around the world.
Influenced by warehouse techno energy, Egbert, Paul Glazby and Glade Festival, SoLow played at warehouse parties in London and magic forest raves. Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg and the rest booked SoLow for nights with Richie Hawtin's crowd. Toolroom, Anjuna and Blue Marlin followed suit.
Growing up in Suffolk, he spent his childhood testing the limits of conformity and compliance. After blowing his mother’s Hi-Fi system by connecting too many speakers, his passion for music began to flourish. He built a PA stack and named it ‘SoLow Sound System’. It was famed for its bass being “so low” that it could be felt.
