Pain Struck Stanley Dumb is an electronic duo consisting of Christopher D Ashley and Luke Dumbstruck.

Christopher D Ashley is one of the freshest and most exciting new artists of today. Picking up piano at two, getting classically trained from five and programming tunes on a BBC computer at eight, it was clear that Christopher’s affinity for music was serious. He fell in love with vinyl and all things Warp Records aged 20 and became a renowned DJ spinning tracks by Radioactive Man, Dexorcist and more as well as new disco revival sounds by Lindstrom, Black Devil, Luke Vibert and Richard D James.

Christopher’s first single ‘We Are Shining’ was a dark, moody staggering underworld monster, layering synth upon synth and emitting a grey electronic haze reminiscent of early Depeche Mode and New Order.
